Prayer Meeting

Mathew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”

We at Life Fellowship Church believe the Lord has called us to live in complete dependence on Him for nurturing our spiritual lives and releasing His power and help to the people whom we interact daily. We believe faith thrives in an atmosphere of prayer as God desires to glorify His name by answering our prayers.

Fasting & Prayer: Friday 10 AM- 12 PM Weekly

Mathew 17:21 “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

We meet weekly Friday morning for praying for the needs of members, neighbors, state, country and the world at large. The Lord is doing wonderful things in our lives by answering our humble prayers.

HOUSE VISITS & CELL GROUP

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate with glad and sincere hearts.” (Acts 2:46)

We meet monthly on 2nd Tuesday at the residences of our members for prayer, worship and fellowship. The cell group provide the ideal setting for spiritual growth, loving fellowship, radical discipleship, and lifestyle evangelism. We follow the example set by the early church in Acts of the Apostles which came into being on the Day of Pentecost and they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. The Cell Groups of our church are established on biblical principles applied by the early apostolic church and we function as small groups, meeting and ministering across various parts of the capital. Through the Care Cells, people are encouraged and built up, and released to do the ministry, thereby impacting the community for Christ. Weekly on Tuesdays the Pastors and the leaders visit the houses of members for prayer and fellowship.

LIFE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH SUNDAY SCHOOL (LFCSS)

Mathew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

The primary goal of Life Fellowship Church Sunday School (LFCSS) is to provide instruction on the basic teachings of the Bible and Christianity and to help children and young adults develop a deeper understanding of their faith. In a structured environment children can learn about their faith, the teachings of their religious tradition, and how to apply those teachings to their daily lives. At LFCSS the students are exposed to various aspects of their faith through lessons, discussions, and activities that are tailored to their age group and level of understanding. These lessons may cover a wide range of topics, within the Bible, religious history, morality, ethics, and spiritual practices. LFCSS provides an opportunity for students to build relationships with other members of their faith community and to develop a sense of belonging and connection to their faith practices and tradition. The LFCSS programs also include opportunities for community service, outreach, and other forms of active engagement with the wider world.

Sunday - 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM

At LFC the interactive Bible Study sessions primarily focus on studying the scriptures by a book or by topic. The study group challenges the participants read and analyze the passage and guide them carefully to get a good understanding of what it says. The LFC studies focus on the context, including the historical and cultural background, the author's purpose, and the intended audience. Consider the literary features of the passage, such as its genre, style, and structure. The interactive Bible Study enables our members to reflect and apply the scriptures relates to the beliefs, values, and actions, and challenged o make changes in light of what is learned. Discussions with the mentors/other members of the study group gives the participants to have new insights and perspectives that help grow in understanding and application of the Bible.

Mercy & Outreach Ministry

Mathew 5:16 “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”

“Anyone who does not love his brother whom he can see, cannot love God whom he cannot see.” (1 John 4:20) As a church we are focused in our mission of proclaiming Christ through our words and works of faith and grace. We believe in showing God’s compassion to the sick, the needy and the oppressed. We provide spiritual and material resources to all in need by relying on God’s grace. The members of this church consider it their responsibility to serve those in the Body of Christ as well as the community outside, by such actions that tangibly demonstrates God’s love. We offer support to widows, destitute, disabled, and those with genuine need.

Acts 1:8 “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

It is our ongoing endeavour to plant worshipping communities amongst people who have not heard of the Lord Jesus Christ and the good news of salvation through Him. The church leadership along with the church family respond proactively as the Lord directs, to send people/resources to locations within or outside the district of Trivandrum, for facilitating and extending the kingdom of God.
